The Colombian Coffee Arabica beans are washed in a process called " Wet Beneficio " or Wet Cleaning. A wet process that also increases the quality of the beans. This traditional method is the one used in Colombian Coffees and has 4 steps.
- Pealing: Beans go through the pealing machine.
- Fermentation: Pealed beans with pulp are stored 14 to 24 in tanks for fermentation.
- Cleansing: This is done by "washing" the beans with clean water to remove the rest of the pulp and it is ready to be sun dried.
